i loved my mother's day!

i had a day off from everything!  work...kids...housework...everything...!  the most productive thing i did all day was grocery shop and help dish up the dinner.  i got treated to sleeping in late, coffee and tulips brought to my bed...then lounged all morning on the couch with the newspaper till it was time to get ready for a late lunch out.  jim of course handled breakfast of fruit, croissants and eggs.  we ended up at chili's with my mom, my sister, her hubby, and my nieces for a late lunch.  it was very nice and the kids behaved relatively well.  after lunch we stopped at my mom's for a bit then headed home.  R got put down for a nap then me and Jim napped ourselves.  ;)  we had to do grocery shopping because there was very little food in the house.  i didn't cook though because it was a rotissierie chicken dinner from the deli.  after dinner we just watched tv and put the boys to bed.  after the boys were in bed, i watched a movie and now i'm checking my email for the first time today.  overall, it's just been a relaxing day that i loved.  no i didn't get a diamond tennis bracelet.  i got something better...a day off!
